The upgrades include a completely rebuilt play structure, a newly reconstructed maze made from long-lasting materials, and a rubberized safety surface to cushion falls. The project also added new accessible features so kids of all abilities can join in the fun. According to the City of Waxahachie Parks and Recreation Department, the improvements bring the playground up to current safety standards. The playground is open now for families to explore.
