BJ's Wholesale Club Opens Friday in Waxahachie
BJ’s Wholesale Club is opening its new Waxahachie location this Friday, May 8, giving Ellis County shoppers another option for bulk groceries, gas and household essentials.
The new club is located at 2180 N. US Highway 77. It will be BJ’s latest Texas location as the membership-based warehouse retailer continues expanding in the state.
For local families, the opening adds another big-box shopping option along the growing US 77 corridor. BJ’s sells groceries, produce, deli items, bakery goods, home goods, pet supplies, toys, electronics and other everyday items.
The store also offers curbside pickup, in-club pickup, same-day delivery in some ZIP codes and app-based checkout through ExpressPay.
Membership is required to shop at BJ’s. The company is currently advertising a limited-time one-year membership offer, along with gas savings for new members.
BJ’s also says the Waxahachie club will partner with the North Texas Food Bank by donating food items like produce, meat and dairy products.
For residents in Waxahachie, Red Oak, Midlothian and surrounding Ellis County communities, the opening could mean more competition for groceries and gas — and likely more traffic near US 77 as shoppers check out the new store during opening week.
