According to the Corsicana Police Department, its Criminal Investigations Division and the Waxahachie Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence on Aug. 28.

Officers said one adult and a young child were inside when they arrived. A second adult arrived while police were conducting the search. Police reported seizing approximately 65 pounds of marijuana, along with:

- About 1.77 pounds of suspected MDMA or ecstasy tablets that field-tested positive for methamphetamine
- 68 grams of suspected counterfeit oxycodone tablets that field-tested positive for fentanyl
- 135 grams of oxycodone tablets
- 294 grams of alprazolam tablets
- Concentrated THC wax and edibles

Investigators also collected documents connected to suspected financial crimes. Multiple vehicles, jewelry and other personal property were seized as possible evidence or suspected proceeds from illegal activity, police said.

An adult woman and an adult man were arrested on multiple drug charges and booked into the Ellis County Jail. Their names were not included in the department’s announcement.

The investigation remains active, and police said additional charges are possible depending on laboratory testing and further investigation.

All charges are allegations. The defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
