What is confirmed is that Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will return as Beth and Rip, alongside Finn Little as Carter. Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, who lives in Weatherford, has expanded his TV work in Texas in recent years, including new studio space in Fort Worth. While the original series was filmed in Montana, this spinoff will showcase Ferris and North Texas settings. While it would be exciting to see Ferris featured in such a popular franchise, Ellis County residents can only hope filming won’t bring too many road closures that affect access to I-45.
