The free, family-friendly cattle drive brought the spirit of the Old West to downtown, opening ten days of music, racing and entertainment.
Running October 9–18, the Stampede of Speed features events at Texas Motorplex in Ennis and nearby Waxahachie. Highlights include the Stars of Texas Music Festival and the NHRA Texas Fall Nationals, where leading drag racers compete in a championship playoff showdown.
Fans can also look forward to the free Fan Fest at Waxahachie’s Railyard Park on October 15, featuring driver appearances, autographs and live music. From the cattle drive to the roar of engines, the celebration brings together Texas heritage and high-speed excitement.
