Make a day of it in downtown Waxahachie
The Crossroads of Texas GO TEXAN Country Festival fills downtown Waxahachie on Saturday, October 24, with free admission, more than 200 booths and live music across more than 10 stages. Browse Texas-made art and handmade goods, grab something to eat and catch performances around the courthouse square and nearby businesses.
Country singer Jake Worthington headlines the main stage from 6–7:30 p.m., following Kenny Whitmire from 4–5 p.m. The festival’s advertised hours are 9 a.m.–7 p.m., so the headliner’s set stretches a little beyond that closing time.
Families can also find free inflatables at the Whataburger Kids Zone and a mini carnival. Before heading downtown, check the festival and parking maps to plan your stop.
