The winner of the Republican runoff will move forward as the party’s nominee for the Precinct 2 commissioner seat. Several statewide races are also on the runoff ballot. On the Republican side, one of the biggest contests is the U.S. Senate runoff between incumbent **John Cornyn** and Texas Attorney General **Ken Paxton**.
