Ennis Sets January Special Election for Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem Seats
Ennis voters will head to the polls early next year to choose a new mayor and mayor pro tem.
The City of Ennis announced a Special Election for January 31, 2026, following the resignations of Mayor Kameron Raburn and Mayor Pro Tem Lynda Isbell. Raburn stepped down to run for Ellis County Judge, while Isbell resigned to pursue the mayor’s seat.
