Juneteenth Parade Rolls Through Waxahachie
Waxahachie celebrated Juneteenth on Saturday with a community parade that started at Lee Penn Park and made its way through city streets and downtown.
Families, local groups and residents gathered along the route as the parade moved through town. Afterward, the celebration continued at the park with a community picnic and family-friendly activities.
The event brought neighbors together for a day of history, community and celebration in Waxahachie.
