Summer Soul Affair Brings Live Music to Downtown Waxahachie
The Summer Soul Affair Music Festival is underway Saturday evening at Railyard Park in downtown Waxahachie, bringing live R&B, soul and funk to the city.
Presented by K.Avett Music Group and sponsored by the City of Waxahachie, the free festival features performances by K.Avett and PughFunk, with music from DJ Mieko and hosting by Draper Wynston.
The event also includes food vendors, local businesses and plenty of fun.
New this year, Summer Soul Affair awards scholarships to two high school students pursuing nursing and creative arts
