The event included a one-mile walk, 5K walk or run, and 10K run along the park’s trails. It was held during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to support families affected by childhood cancer.
Participation also helped Brave Like Ellie provide Brave Boxes — gift packages for families with a child affected by cancer.
Warrior Walk and Run Supports Families Facing Childhood Cancer
Runners and walkers took part in Brave Like Ellie’s third annual Warrior Walk and Run Saturday at Getzendaner Park in Waxahachie.
