The requirement takes effect immediately and applies to all varsity football games held at the stadium.
District officials said the change is intended to provide supervision for younger students and keep games safe and enjoyable as attendance grows.
“As our football team is experiencing incredible success this season, and attendance at our football games continues to grow, it is important that we take proactive steps to maintain a positive and secure environment for everyone,” district officials said in the announcement.
For families, the change means students in kindergarten through eighth grade cannot be dropped off to enter games on their own. They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to be admitted.
High school students can still attend without a parent or guardian. They are expected to follow all district and stadium rules.
