Here’s how the new rates will look on a typical bill (water, wastewater, and garbage combined): — Minimum bill (0–1,500 gallons): $65.92, up from $63.92 — 5,000 gallons: $104.88, up from $101.38 — 11,000 gallons: $172.60, up from $166.48 The city says the adjustment is necessary to keep pace with rising costs and to continue maintaining and expanding the system as Waxahachie grows.
