Construction Begins on New Red Oak ISD Elementary School

Red Oak ISD officially broke ground this week on the future Shirley B. Jones Elementary School, marking a major investment in education and growth for the community.
On hand for the ceremony were Willie Franklin and Ricardo Miller, who joined district leaders, staff, and community members to celebrate the milestone. The new school is expected to serve Red Oak students and families as the area continues to grow, with the campus projected to open in Fall 2027. District officials say the project reflects a long-term commitment to the future of Red Oak and its students. Residents can follow construction progress and bond project updates through the district’s official bond website www.roisdbond.com.
